Selfishness and apathy, really?

Selfish, like wanting to bring someone new into a tune
just in case something bigger happens to come along

What’s this about all of the energy it takes
to work with somebody on all the pain, and all the mistakes?

Apathy, like backing somebody 107 percent
to help maybe make some of their dreams start to happen
