about

Pertaining to the Audio - Yet another 'genre-sounding' style. Guess it's never suited me to stay in 1 area of genre spectrum for too long at once.

The story behind the lyrics - Had a falling out with someone, which is sad obviously. And over something so frivolous. Well, frivolous to me anyway. I guess though, what means little to one person can mean so much more to someone else.

It's always sad 2 people part ways -not just speaking about myself and my own personal situations, but anyone -even just witnessing it happen to others breaks my heart, so you can imagine how it just tears my insides up when it does happen to me.

The actual song lyrics themselves are pretty self-explanatory, it's about bearing yourself to someone; Expressing how someone has made you feel so worthless to them, and rather then them being all "Oh, DING DING DING -I get it," they just further solidify their reasons, instead. So, taking that with a grain of salt the lyrics bid farewell to the individual, and also harbor words of encouragement that one day the individual well finally hear them bells and get 'it' (this song) and in turn, not be so closed off -and actually allow people in. It's bitter-sweet because I have hope that he will eventually open up, and it only cost us our friendship :(

Pertaining to the art - The cover I admit, is a LOT sloppier than you're used to seeing from me -and I simply HATE when I (the artist) am not COMPLETELY visible on my own cover... But alas, like the song suggests, we can't always get what we want. That being said, the cover has a LOT of sentimental value to me.

lyrics

Da da da da da da da da
Da da da da da da da da

Verse 1:
Well I told you how I felt
So I guess I just can’t sell
I’m sad if you can’t tell
My words should have made your heart melt
But my, my pleading it didn’t help
So as this song begins to swell
I hope that you hear bells
And crawl out of your shell

Chorus (x2):
Ut-oh, Ut-oh, Ut-oh-oh-oh
You’re not gonna miss me
Ut-oh, Ut-oh, Ut-oh-oh-oh
You’ll never think about me
Ut-oh, Ut-oh, Ut-oh-oh-oh
You’ll never even see me
Ut-oh, Ut-oh, Ut-oh-oh-oh
You’re never gonna call me

Verse 2:
And well you know that I loved you so
And I think it really showed
And yet you left me in the cold
So that we couldn’t ever grow
So I have got to go
though I know that means you’ll never know
what more I could have brought to the fold
I guess my heart was far too bold

Chorus (x2):
Ut-oh, Ut-oh, Ut-oh-oh-oh
You’re not gonna miss me
Ut-oh, Ut-oh, Ut-oh-oh-oh
You’ll never think about me
Ut-oh, Ut-oh, Ut-oh-oh-oh
You’ll never even see me
Ut-oh, Ut-oh, Ut-oh-oh-oh
You’re never gonna call me

[Break]

Chorus (x4):
Ut-oh, Ut-oh, Ut-oh-oh-oh
You’re not gonna miss me
Ut-oh, Ut-oh, Ut-oh-oh-oh
You’ll never think about me
Ut-oh, Ut-oh, Ut-oh-oh-oh
You’ll never even see me
Ut-oh, Ut-oh, Ut-oh-oh-oh
You’re never gonna call me
